Katie Chang joined Landsman & Ronald in 2022 and handles various litigation matters,
including insurance and criminal defense. Katie graduated from the University of Maryland
Francis King Carey School of Law in 2019 before starting her legal career as an Assistant State’s

and represented the State of Maryland before the District and Circuit Courts for Baltimore City
in numerous criminal matters. Most recently, Katie investigated reports of police misconduct for

Division Rule 19 student attorney for the Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office, interned for
the Special Victims’ Unit, and served as a law clerk for the Gun Violence Enforcement Division.
Katie is originally from California but moved to Baltimore early in her life, where she developed
a strong dedication to the community through her work as a bartender and server. Outside of
work, Katie serves as a volunteer judge for the Thurgood Marshall Trial Team and MyLaw
Mock Trial. She enjoys traveling with friends and hopes to adopt a dog in the near future.
