Jaime Cortina joined the Law Office of Landsman & Ronald, LLC in 2025 as an associate litigation attorney, with a practice focused on personal injury and insurance defense. He brings a strong legal foundation built over more than a decade of experience as a paralegal and intern in a wide range of practice areas, including community association law, trusts and estates, family law, and tax law. Mr. Cortina has represented clients in IRS office audits and served as a student attorney with the Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic at the University of Baltimore School of Law. His diverse background provides a well-rounded perspective when navigating complex legal matters.

Mr. Cortina’s path to the legal profession is rooted in leadership, service, and community involvement. Outside the courtroom, he is a Third Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus, an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America, and a proud brother of Alpha Phi Omega, a national service fraternity. He also serves as president of his condominium association and as a conductor in a local choir, reflecting a strong commitment to civic responsibility and the arts. Prior to entering the legal field, Mr. Cortina developed his organizational and interpersonal skills as a catering and restaurant manager, experience that continues to shape his thoughtful, client-centered approach to legal practice.
