Brian Netty

Associate

Brian Nettey graduated from the University of Maryland College Park with a degree in Economics. While at the university, Brian was a member of the Mighty Sound of Maryland and also participated in the mock trial program. Brian was a member of the 2008 mock trial national championship team.

Brian then attended the University of Baltimore School of Law and graduated in 2014. During law school, Brian participated in the Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition and was President of the Immigration Law Association. 

After graduating from law school, Brian gained critical trial experience handling the most serious criminal offenses at the Maryland Office of the Public Defender in Prince George’s County as an Assistant Public Defender. Brian then worked as a Senior Policy Advisor for the Department of Homeland Security, Office of Civil Right and Civil Liberties. 

Outside of work, Brian is an attorney coach for a high school mock trial team in Prince George’s County and volunteers for the University of Maryland eSports program.
